Cleaning Computer Monitors

Computer monitors accumulate dirt just like any window, so here are a few tips to keep your PC looking like new. We recommend using a soft cotton cloth to remove dust, being careful to wipe gently if you have an LCD or other non-glass screen. Fingerprints and other oily or sticky substances can be removed from a screen with an anti-reflective coating by using a small drop of liquid soap on a damp cloth. Use a clean damp cloth to wipe away any soapy residue. Screens without an anti-reflective coating can be cleaned using ordinary glass cleaners. Consult your computer’s User’s Guide to determine what sort of solutions should be used with your monitor. Remember, don’t let water or other liquids drip on the keyboard or seep behind the display’s frame!
